"You said that this thing I've got is the blight."
"Yeah."
"What does that mean, exactly?"
"It means one day sooner or later, you're gonna turn on us."
"Turn?"
"Yeah, turn. Turn into a fiend. That's what we call it."
"And a fiend is a... monster, right?"
"Yeah. You become a slave to the darkness, a mindless killer. Once somebody turns, the only way to stop 'em is to put 'em down, like a damn dog."
"I would just snap and attack all of you guys, just like that??"
"That's what I'm sayin'--you hard of hearing or just hard-headed?"
"And that happens to everyone with the blight...?"
"Unless we find the Phoenix first, yeah. The hell you think we've been looking for all this time?"
"I know, I know! I just... hey."
"Eh?"
"If that happens to me... Are you gonna, I mean... Would you kill me?"
"...Without a thought."

Woulda cleaned this up a bit more but I'm way late for bed and I wasn't even supposed to work on something like this, hah. Fun anyway.
