TPC - Pigeon Nest

The first few months after her parents' deaths were the worst. She could barely stand being left alone in that house, much less in the dark, so when the sun set she would take to her wings and fly to her old friend's side. If he woke up and noticed her sneaking in, he was usually sympathetic enough to let her sleep in bed with him the rest of the night. She never left her gi'ira'set the whole time, and she would always wake up and fly home in the morning before the rest of the house woke up, just to spare them both the awkward questions.

Crono would never ask, anyway--he was always understanding like that.

Needed a break from my tablet, which was kicking my butt. Drew something fluffy and wholesome with my pencil, instead. There's still something to be said for how tangible traditional media is, you know?

(And then I copped out and colored it in OpenCanvas. I always get lost when trying to find a DA category for pieces like this. Isn't it mixed media? But that doesn't have a fanart subcategory...)
