Cid's taking a snooze with (on?) his temporary bodyguard--somebody's gotta keep him safe from Quina, right? Zidane's having a nice dream, but I don't think it's about the regent.

I was just browsing my scraps and remembering that I wanted to redraw this one, so I did. Far from perfect, but it'll do.
Yeah, this version doesn't have Eiko and Vivi, but I've got another pic planned for them, worry not.

Oh yeah, just for the heck of it I made a desktop version, too.

I love it! You're entirely to good at digital paintings! The hole in the sock and the boots are great add-ons. Also, his hair is fantastic. My only critique is that some part look sharp/jagged, possibly from a scan of line art? I dunno, but I'm referring specifically to the little metal things the hammock is tied to, and the bottom right hand corner of the rope. Maybe I'm just seeing things though. Anyway, :+fav:.

Noticed something else in passing... from left to right the clouds look like: a moose-ish creature, a nude woman, an old man with a monkey tail holding his back, and a guy in armour with an axe.

Haha, I can't see those at all. You have some imagination!
Thanks for the crit! I know what you're talking about--the piece is only about 60% digital, so a lot of that is the pencil showing through. I could take some time to try to smooth it out later...

Ya know, if you didn't do such wonderful works, I would have more to say. Fantastic.

I love cloud gazing and I can see the objects Glandrid pointed out. Maybe one should draw the objects in the clouds to better visualize them. Or not. The fact still remains, your digital art ROCKS!
